Graduation Party!

Well, I have officially graduated from high-school. What a huge mile marker! I have to say that while I enjoyed a lot of school, I am so glad and excited to be done! I enjoyed my graduation party so much! Our pastor's wife did all the planning of the food and the decorations. She did a wonderful job! I had a lot of fun setting up my own display table and pictures and seeing all of the people who came. And speaking of pictures...here a few!

Build your own Sundae!

Cheese and Crackers

I really enjoyed watching all of the people who came;
they all looked like they were having a lot of fun, too!

And volleyball, of course!

Later, when mostly just family was still around, Dad called
everyone inside and said he had "a presentation" to give.

His and Mom's graduation gift to me was a Henry .22 rifle--
the Golden Boy edition!

I am so excited...one of our neighbors gave me a beautiful camo gun case, and a couple of people gave me a lot of ammo! One reason this gun is so special is because my grandpa's name was Henry, and he was a very godly man who feared the Lord and passed down his godly heritage to his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Dad gave this gun to me as a reminder of that godly heritage and as a reminder of each of my wonderful grandparents! I love the feel of this gun: its weight, size, and smooth lever action. I will always treasure it!

I really appreciated all the people that were able to come celebrate with me...and I apologize if I inadvertently left anyone out!

I am looking forward to seeing where God will lead me. I wonder what I'll be like 10 or 20 years down the road...I love being able to look back and see how He has worked in my life. I wonder what my "rear-view mirror" will look like then! The greatest desire of my heart is that He would continually draw me closer to Him and teach me to love Him more, that He would make me ever more into a woman that brings honor and glory to His name in everything I do. He has placed so many wonderful people in my life! I am so thankful for each of my friends and family, for each person that He has used to shape me into the person I am now. I am so blessed! Most of all, I am so thankful to Him for sending His Son to die for my sins...because I put my trust in Him as my Savior, He is preparing a place for me in heaven! Also, He gives me the grace to live a life that honors Him. What security there is in that! He does not promise a life of ease, but He is always there to guide His loved ones through troubled times and joyous times alike. And this is the God that has planned my life out and holds me in His hand!

I would love it if you would take the time to pray for me every once in a while! I love to pray Scripture, and if I could pick any verse for you to pray for me, it would be this one:

Ephesians 3:16-19 NKJV (words in italics changed)
That He would grant Brittany, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in her heart through faith; that she, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that she may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Thank you!
