Rainbow!

A beautiful double rainbow shone right after a storm tonight! What a beautiful reminder that God always keeps His promises!

"I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth." Genesis 9:13

Mitchell's graduation

Mitchell's graduation party was yesterday, and I had the privilege of being there most of the day to help set up and add moral support. =) It was so special to be part of his big day! Here are some pictures of the finished project.

Congratulations, Mitch!

God's creation

I took these pictures a couple days ago of a woodpecker! It is so much fun to see different beautiful birds that God has created!

The moon was also beautiful that day. It was a pale full moon that rose early in the afternoon.
The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims His handiwork.
Psalms 91:1

Helicopter Ride!

I got to ride in a helicopter yesterday evening! Someone was giving rides on the other side of town, and it was a chance that no one wanted to miss! I did get a few pictures.
Brady, Katie, and Riley waiting for their turn

My turn, with Mitchell, Abby, and Colby

 Downtown Aurora, Nebraska

Spying on Dad's friend, Gregg Kremer, doing field work =)

Our yard!

Uncle Jeff and four cousins

It was a lot of fun to be able to see Aurora and the farmland around it spread out beneath us, and to recognize landmarks. The pilot even circled around my house! It was definitely an experience worth having!

Spring Flowers

Hello World!

Welcome, blog readers!
I am excited to be writing on my very own blog! I'm not one for long introductions, but I will give you a few interesting points about myself.
I am 17 years old, the oldest of six (soon to be seven) kids. I accepted Christ as my Savior when I was 9 years old, and have seen His faithful work in my life drawing me nearer to Him day by day! I play violin and also help teach two of my younger siblings to play. I enjoy reading, music, photography, horseback riding, and being outdoors. And since November, I have had the wonderful privilege of getting to know a special young man, Mitchell Quiring. He is a farmer to the core, and a responsible, diligent worker! The Lord's work is very evident in his life.
One other thing that I am currently doing; helping to coach a soccer team! I've played soccer for 2 years now, and I was asked to help out with a 3rd and 4th grade team, which happens to be the team that my sister Abby is on. I will post some pictures later on.
I have a lot of fun keeping up with people by reading their blogs, and I hope that all of you readers out there will enjoy mine. Feel free to leave comments!
